Welcome back! So how did it go with your dream job title (#14?) Have your discovered what your dream job title is? Great if you got it already. If you don’t, don’t worry. Finding your clarity is a process, but the important thing is to stay truthful to yourself, to honour your career aspirations and your potential. Once you know what your dream job is, you can start preparing yourself for your interview.

Every person can be successful, wealthy and happy. Your success does not depend on pretending or trying to fit in, but rather finding out if the next job opportunity is worth your time, energy and dedication.”

Interviews can be frighting. Many people worry if they will fit in and if they are the right candidate. Interview is however a two way process and it is really nothing else but your opportunity to discover if the job position you applied for is the one you dream about. After all, this will be the opportunity where you give away about 30 % of your precious time. So wouldn’t it be useful to find out if it really is worthy of your time and dedication? How will you realise if this is your dream job in the interview? Simply by getting ready and preparing a list of questions that will help you discover.

Step #15 coffee break exercise:

  • Zero to dream jobThink about your dream job. Imagine being in the interview.
  • Be curious and list 10 questions that would help you discover if this job is really the right one for you. Consider every single aspect that is important for you from values, stress levels to remunaration.
  • Share about your discoveries with your buddy.  Supporting each other will help you find your dream job and it’s fun to do it together.
